Mid Range Water Reducing and Retreading Admixture

IZZY ZAD8 is a medium water reducing concrete admixture that reduces water content and delays concrete formation, increasing the pourability of the concrete. It is designed for general concrete and concrete mixed with fly ash. Its characteristics are equivalent to ASTM C494 Type A and D standards.

The proportion of use is approximately 500 – 800 cc per 100 kilograms of cement or cement mixed with pozzolans such as fly ash. It is recommended to conduct a test to find the appropriate amount of use.

Mixing

Mix IZZY ZAD8 in appropriate amounts through the automatic liquid dispensing system, through the water pipe to the concrete mixer. Avoid adding liquid directly to the mixture while it is dry.

Effects when used in high amounts

Using IZZY ZAD8 in excess of the specified amount will lengthen the initial setting time. If the amount used is more than doubled, the concrete will separate. However, proper curing of concrete will give higher final compressive strength than normal concrete.
